Advanced Bicycle Mechanic Course
A 2-week professional mechanic training program in partnership with K2O School of Bicycle Mechanics.
The Advanced Bicycle Mechanic Course is built for riders and aspiring mechanics who want a comprehensive, job-ready understanding of bicycle repair. Delivered by Quick Cranks in partnership with the K2O School of Bicycle Mechanics, this two-week intensive combines hands-on shop training with the technical standards and systems knowledge used in professional service departments.
Whether you’re looking to level up your skills, pursue a career as a bicycle mechanic, or build the foundation to run your own service operation, this course is designed to develop real-world competency across modern bikes — including electronic shifting, hydraulic systems, wheel building, and suspension service.
Who This Course Is For
This course is ideal for students who want in-depth technical training in bicycle maintenance and repair, including those aiming to work in a bike shop service department, advance their current mechanic skills, or develop the knowledge needed to operate a professional workshop.
Training Approach
Our instructional approach focuses on bringing students up to a professional standard in both core and advanced mechanic skills. A major emphasis is placed on learning how to find, interpret, and follow technical specifications, service manuals, and manufacturer standards — and applying those standards consistently during real service procedures.
To support technical learning and quick access to reference material, students are strongly encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet preloaded with the technical links and resources provided prior to the start of the course.
